Healthcare Solutions ... Naturally

THE PROGRAMME
Your organisation comprises of three main elements:

your employees, your customers and your products.

It is a given that whatever impacts the first two is bound to impact your organisation – your products and/or services –  severely  limiting  your  organisation’s  long  term sustainability.

These are the hard,  if obvious, facts of life facing any  organisation  today  as they come to terms with the implications and impact of  HIV/AIDS pandemic.  We are providing  a prevention service  to every member that is exposed to the virus and it is no longer a case of only providing for those  who are HIV/AIDS infected with a complete management programme to help them remain clinically healthy, productive and active members of their community and workforce.

Today we also need to protect ourselves, our  organisations,  our employees,  the dependents as well  as  our  customers against the long term impacts of HIV/AIDS infections.  The P3 - Personal Protection Programme    provides      immediate assistance and preventative treatment to any individual exposed to  HIV  through rape, assault, needle stick injuries, motor vehicle accidents and other exposures.

Should such an event occur, the member can  receive  rapid  private  treatment following a simple call to the Care Centre. Our Medically trained staff will direct the individual to the nearest facility anywhere in South Africa, where they will be treated professionally and confidentially.

IN THE EVENT OF RAPE

Being a victim of sexual abuse is horrifying enough. Facing the reality that you may have contracted the deadly HIV virus or STD is terrifying. Rape statistics in South Africa are horrific with one estimate suggesting that a woman is raped in South Africa every 23 seconds.

Men are also victims of Sexual assault. Thousands of these assaults are allegedly unreported every year.  We know it happens and confidential medical and emotional assistance are available for male survivors.

Member and dependants are covered by the HIV  Protection  Programme. This means that in the awful event of your child being raped you would be  able  to  get  free antiretroviral treatment as soon as possible.

Rape / Sexual assault is a violent and traumatic experience that can happen  to anyone  in  many  situations.  Prompt antiretroviral  treatment  may prevent you or someone  you  love  from  contracting the deadly HIV virus.
